Music Express offers a technology that only a handful of companies
offer. The technology is called “Wireless Transmission System.”
What
is a “Wireless Transmission System?”
The
“Wireless Transmission System” is a powered speaker(s) (a
speaker with a built in amplifier) on a tripod speaker stand, and a
“Sennheiser” wireless receiver.
How
does it work?
Connected
to the mixing board of our main system is a “Sennheiser”
wireless transmitter. The sound that comes out of the mixing board
is transmitted to the receiver that is connected to the powered
speaker. The volume coming out of the speaker can be controlled
directly from the mixing board. The only thing needed to make the
wireless system work is a power outlet to plug in the speaker.
With
this technology, we can handle events that are in multiple rooms.
Some facilities are cut up into a few different rooms for the dinner
portion, or have cocktail hour in a separate room. We can have a
“Wireless Transmission System” in each room. We can also have
different volumes in each room. This system is not obtrusive like
companies that use separate sound systems. The “Wireless
Transmission System” allows everyone to hear the same music, at
the same time, no matter where they are.
Night
Music Express does NOT charge more for this service. It is inclusive
(up to three (3) “Wireless Transmission Systems”) with all of
our packages.
Are
there other wireless systems besides “Sennheiser” that can do
the same thing?
As
far as transmitting, “yes”, BUT other wireless systems do not
have the range that the “Sennheiser” system has. Also, other
systems typically operate on one frequency, sometimes two. The
“Sennheiser Evolution Series” has 1440 frequencies to choose
from, so if we are receiving outside interference, we have 1439
other frequency settings that we can use.
